Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation is considered by many to be the greatest “FAN” film ever made. Started in 1981 when Chris and his buddy, Eric Zala, were 10 and 11 years old it took them 7 years, essentially the rest of their raiders_adaptationchildhood, to “complete” the film. I have COMPLETE in quotes because, for obvious reasons, they never filmed the airplane scene back then…that would come 20+ years later.

One of the reasons I’m replaying this tonight is to prep everyone for the upcoming August 18, 2016 edition of Graffiti. Two weeks from tonight I’ll have both Chris and Eric on to talk about everything that’s happened recently including the release of the documentary about Raiders of the Lost Ark: The Adaptation.

Please tune in tonight at 7pm to my radio program, Graffiti, and listen to a9781250001474 re-run of my conversation with Chris Strompolos on Hellenic Public Radio, WNYE, 91.5 fm. Or listen on-line at the HPR website.

Please click here to take you back to the posting I wrote for when this was originally aired back on Thanksgiving night last year.
