When I Walk: A film by Jason DaSilva. February 6, 2012.

February 6, 2012

When I Walk is a feature-length, point-of-view narrative film documenting my rapid loss of mobility over a five-year period, my emotional journey, and my pursuit of a new identity.  Five years ago, after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, I discovered there were few stories or personal accounts documenting the physical and emotional experience of multiple sclerosis.

“…my doctors were telling me that in five years I would be in a wheelchair, possibly without eyesight…”

Please help me get this film finished!

excerpted from the KICKSTARTER site.

When my friend, Carol, an extraordinary woman, asks me to do something I never question the rightness or legitimacy of what she asks. I never have to…I know it is RIGHT. So when she sent me an e-mail asking me to mention Jason’s KICKSTARTER campaign for his film: When I Walk I only hesitated long enough to visit the site to see what it was that she felt so strongly about. It’s a remarkable story. A story of great courage.

So please take a moment and click here to check out Jason’s blog for the film. Watch some of his video blog while you’re at it.

But more importantly take a moment to click here to visit his “Help me get When I Walk to the finish line!” site at KICKSTARTER. Jason’s goal is $3,000. Certainly we can help him raise $3,000 by April 4, 2012.

Whether it’s five hundred bucks or five that you can send his way it all helps.

Thank you so much for your help in spreading the message about Jason’s important Film. As an independent film producer, I know how hard it is every step of the way to raise needed funds! This is a project I wholeheartedly support and I am a backer of the campaign! Jason is one of a kind.

Our small film company also has a Talk Radio show and he was our guest . You can listen to the podcast of the interview at http://www.toginet.com/shows/talksenseradio Scroll the right podcast side until you see Jason’s name and then click on it for a full hour interview.
